It prints like no other
I'll be setting up this printer later today and really wanted to see all the features first hand. Your video is extremely helpful! Thank you so much for posting!!
I'm glad you held your printouts up to the camera. I was a bit disappointed in the color of the Nu-Tone brochure. The brochure was clearly orange but the print was red. I hope there's a way to adjust that. BUT, the blues and yellows in the second printout looked really good and close to accurate. I wonder if the Canon printer has an issue with printing orange or maybe the copy/scan function has a problem reproducing certain colors. I don't know, but I would definitely try to fix the orange/red color issue if possible. I think I might get this printer. Looks like it works good so far and maybe the color inaccuracy can be fixed if I tinker with it. Thanks for the video.
Color rendering is a bit off. But I've come to expect that from Canon printers. If it works good enough for you, that's what matters.
Awesome video. I was looking for a printer and found this one on sale at Best Buy. Your video helped me get convinced it was a good printer to buy. Thank you!
Looks good. I've always had good luck with Canon printers but I've never had a laser, just inkjet. Right now I have 2, a regular Pixma 4200 photo printer that has to be 10 to 15 years old and a Pixma MX870 all in one that is probably 8 to 10 years old. The 4200 ended up sitting unused for 3 years after I bought the 870 and the print head dried out. I found a new one on eBay for about $50 a few years ago and now it back in service and my father is using it on his computer. I'm very fussy when it comes to photo print quality and I've always been super impressed with Canon. I'm also impressed with their longevity. I'm sure your laser machine will provide you years of good service.
Thanks for your review, you gave more info than 5 other reviews combined.
Glad you got up to the color laser printer. It will be the best money you ever spent and Cannons are good.
Great reviews. questions I have that seems like nobody has all the answers.
At least you didn't buy an HP. They now require a subscription thing for printers, STANDARD. You HAVE to get it.
I just bought the same printer today. Took a little bit of fiddling to get the wireless set up, but got it in the end. Tomorrow I'll see how much swearing it takes to get it set up to print from my iphone.
Hi, I have the same Canon printer as you, everything working fine until I change the paper size from letter to legal size. The legal size printing worked find, but trouble now getting the printer to print on letter size paper 8 1/2 X 11. I keep getting a flash signal on the triangle on the touch pad. I had changed the paper tray back for letter size paper and I suspect there is a problem there. No manual to look at, the website is down for the manuals, I have looked elsewhere for troubleshooting and tried to call Canon - no luck. Do you have any suggestions. I did try using the touch pad for choices, it just keeps repeating the same things, that is why I think the tray is the problem!! Thanks!!
how many pages you can print with the toner? are there 2 toners for black/white and color?
this is a good color printer. but for prinitng a high quality photos and have borderless pictures you need a inject printers because they are far better than laser printers in terms of picture quality. i have both of them.
It works!
I have a hard time to print my labels and envelops with Canon MF642Cdw; do you have any video to help? I used to use HP printers and do not have any problems to print anything, especially with single labels. I can just print one and next time come back use the old label sheet to print another one by one until finished. With this Canon printer I messed up a lot of my Avery label sheets because it doesn’t specify where to put the paper in, assumed just put in the same tray with all the printing papers but found out that the was a special slot to put just only 1 sheet in thereto print, but one more time didn’t have any instructions that suppose to have paper up or down, therefore easy to make mistake to print out the wrong side. On the top of that I just need to print one label, next time to print back another one I cannot figure how to print it correct in the second row on third column for instance. I do not have problem with other printers, just with Canon. Please help.
I have a question, I purchased a CanonMF741C laser printer and when I print off images the colors do not look anything like what yours do, is there some settings I need to fix on it, mine come out dull or washed out, I am not expecting exact color but at least more vibrant than I am getting. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance :)
Help a lot! thank you
How do you set up it up to connect to your computer??
Can you use this without buying the color catridge?
